I HAVE FINALLY GOT MY PUPPY

My little puppy Charlie has finally come home. I picked him up at 4.30 this afternoon so I've had him for a grand total of 3 hours. He seems to have settled in well.. He's acquainted himself with my back yard and he's had cuddles off everyone.. (my kids love him to bits).

He's just had his first ever bath.. He quite liked it but now he's on my knee wrapped up in his blanket dithering like mad.. At least he smells a bit sweeter..lol.

I hope I don't have any trouble in the morning when I try to get Emily and Jack to go to school. At the moment they don't want to leave him. I suppose that the novelty will wear off soon enough.

Ah well.. I'd better go so I can get the kids in bed.

I will be back soon with another installment about my exciting life.. lol.

Christmas Is Coming

Well.. It's only a couple of weeks til christmas.. Hope you are all prepared for a day of madness !!!

I am having a quiet one this year (as quiet as it can be with 2 lil kids). I am spending most of the day just with just my kids and my partner, then my mum and Dad are coming for tea. I don't mind them coming as mum has said that she will be buying and preparing all the food so at least I will be able to rest for a bit.

I've got my kids Christmas Concerts at school tomorrow. I hate going but it's something I have to do. My lil girl is starring as an elephant and my lil boy is a sheep.. Very christmassy eh???
I will post some pics of them if I manage to take any decent ones.

Ah well.. I'm going to go now, so I will say MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all ( Hope you don't get too merry.. lol)

Changes.

Isn't it amazing how things change. I've gone from a person who felt so unhappy with life, to someone who loves everything that is happening at the moment.

I am a changed person.. I'm doing a family maths course through my kids school, I've started reading books ( which is not me at all), at the moment I'm reading My Turn, which is Norman Wisdoms autobiography ( I LOVE Norman Wisdom). And on top of that I've become a dog lover. My little puppy Charlie has really changed my view on life.

Charlie is now 2 weeks old, and he is growing fast. He's got to go the vets in 2 days for a check up which should be fun. No doubt me and my mate Lisa will be told that he is too fat cuz he really loves his belly. He is forever feeding off his mum. I will post some more pics of him as he grows. I've only got to wait another 6 weeks before I can bring him home, which I can't wait for.

Anyway, I'm going to go now before I find something to moan about.. lol

I Actually Feel Happy !!!!!!!!

I really can't believe that I am feeling happy for the first time in months.. I am so happy because my long awaited puppy was born yesterday.. His name is Charlie, he is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (hence the name I chose for him).

I went to see him yesterday when he was only 7 hours old and I fell in love straight away, he is so tiny its unbelievable. I will post the first ever picture I took of him if I can remember how to do it. I am sure everyone will love him like I do.

My kids are mad about him.. Usually they are very wary of dogs but they love Charlie abd his Mum and Dad, Daisey May and Yogi. They are my friend Lisa's dogs and they are absolutely gorgeous. They are so laid back I am suprised they can stand up.. lol..

Ah well. I'm going to try to add the pic of Charlie now so if you can't see anything it means that I've forgotten how to do it.

I Hate Half Term !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why do kids have so much time off school? My 2 have only been in school for about 7 weeks, now they're off for a week and they are driving me batty. For the past 2 days they have done nothing but fight and argue.

Is it just my kids who are little buggers or are all kids the same??? I am sick to the back teeth of the back chatting that I get off my daughter.. She is only 4 yrs old but she has got a proper mouth on her.. She is so cheeky it's unbelievable.. My son who is 3 is terrible for thumping people.

Both of my kids were well behaved until they started school.. Is it me or are children allowed to do whatever they want at school.. It seems to me that kids get away with murder there because the teachers can't discipline them anymore. All they do when a kid is misbehaving is send them in to another class room but how is that going to teach the child that they've done something wrong???

I dread to think what the world will be like in a few years time when it is full of kids who have got no respect for anyone. I don't want my kids growing up like that but what can I do when they are seeing nearly every other kid behaving that way? Surely there is somethng that can be done in schools to discipline the pupils, and surely, the parents of the kids could try to bring their kids up in the way that they were raised theirselves..

Well.. there you go.. my moan is over.. I hope someone else agrees with what i've been saying.

When Will Things Get Better?????

This week is going from bad to worse.. I don't know why I bother sometimes... You have probably already read about how my kids are winding me up, well, on top of that it's now half term and my lil boy is poorly.. He's picked up some kind of viral infection so he's in a really good state (not). Alot of kids from his class are ill.



I think I'm taking to my life so badly as I'm constantly tired these days.. I seem to have got stuck in a very deep ditch of feeling fed up and I don't seem to be able to pull myself out of it.. I know I will one day but I don't know how long I can carry on for.. If it wasn't for my closest mate Lisa I would have gone batty by now, so thanks Lisa, you are a real mate and I luv ya to bits.



Hopefully, when I create my next installment I will be in a better frame of mind and will be happy for once.. ha ha..

Kids.. Who'd Ave Em???

Today my kids are driving me batty.. I really feel like puling my hair out. My Daughter is so naughty it's unreal.

I know she is only 4 yrs old but she doesn't half know how to wind me up.. She's in one of those moods today where no matter what anyone says to her she's got some cheeky comment to come back with.. I don't know where she gets it from.

My lil lad is just as bad.. He's been shouting his head off since 6.30 this morning, so he's been non-stop for 3 hours.. I'm glad I've got no neighbours or I'd be a very unpopular person.

I've found out how to upload a pic.. This is me and my lil man.. It was taken a year ago but none of us have changed.

Hello

Well, hello to every one out there.. My name is Nicki, I'm a 28 yr old mum of 2.. I haven't got a clue what I'm doing here so please be patient with me. I have never done anything like this before.



I have decided to start posting my blog as I feel very lonely now both of my kids are in school and I have no one who I can sound off at when I'm fed up. I hope I don't moan too much on here but I will warn you that it is quite possible that I will..



I will post some pics on here when I work out how to do it. At least then all of you will be able to put a face to the old moaner.. lol
